Abstract:
People with disabilities encounter different setbacks throughout their lives. These are situations of exclusion, prejudice and lack of access to basic rights, such as access to the job market, for example. In this sense, social inclusion is highly sought after not only by people with disabilities, but by every individual who feels excluded in some way from social life. However, the parameters to define what this inclusion is are vague or difficult to quantify, thus how sparse, although urgent, the actions in the search for placing these people in the job market are. However, in December 2019, bill PL 6,159/2019 was presented in the chamber of deputies, which exempts companies from hiring people with disabilities and imposes on them, as an alternative, the payment of a fine to the rehabilitation fund, the which means a real social setback in the rights already achieved by this category. Thus, the objective of this course conclusion work is to discuss bill 6,159/2019 and the guarantee of access for people with disabilities to the job market in light of the principle of prohibiting social regression.
