Abstract:
This study is essentially an exploratory qualitative analysis of generation Z. Which is marked in time as the set of people born between 1995 and 2010. And therefore they have a number of characteristics in common. Many of them connected to connectivity. Because of this, they are also called digital natives. A generation marked by a world that is undergoing very strong and fast economic, social and environmental transformation. These young people seek different conditions in the job market than previous generations. Aspects such as the company’s socio-environmental responsibility, more democratic leadership, and self-development are strongly desired aspects. Attracting and keeping them in business must be seen as essential and possibly a competitive advantage. Some obstacles will be present, such as the need for a capable management that understands the individual characteristics of these employees. Feedbacks and conversations are useful tools for this group that waits for rapid ascension and leadership opportunities. Basic aspects such as remuneration, rest, and safety are still important for these workers, but the relevance of esteem and personal fulfillment gain weight. The healthy interaction between generations has the potential to generate new ideas, expand knowledge, and consequently innovations.
