Abstract:
The present work had as methodology the bibliographic review with a qualitative approach to answer questions about growing mindset, emotional intelligence, limiting beliefs and happiness. Mindset is the mental attitude or mental model with which people see life, the way they think and consequently the way they act in certain situations. The mindset configures and organizes thoughts and gives a pattern in the conduct of personal events. Individuals with the growth mindset believe that skills can be developed through effort, guidance, and good strategies. They seek to develop their cognition through learning and challenge, seeing failure not as a lack of intelligence and competence, but as a stimulus for growth and expansion of their skills. Limiting beliefs are opinions and thoughts that people accept as absolute truths and prevent their professional and personal growth, causing a dream or goal to be forgotten, discrediting the possibility of achieving it. Emotional intelligence addresses broader aspects of emotional management, considering the context in which the individual identifies, perceives, uses and regulates his emotions and those of others. Happiness is the balance between the development of emotional intelligence, the growth mindset and unshakable faith in the pursuit of goals. Happiness is not the absence of problems, it is the knowing how to solve them with intelligence and the joy of living.
